Perfect Ice

I came accross to dis yummy dessert from an advertisement magazine, "ADSclusive".. There is more than 20 tempting flavours found in each Perfect Ice outlet. The ice sherbet is distinctively prepared using fresh fruits that contain multivitamins and does not include preservatives and artificial colouring – a healthy sherbet that suits the tagline most, that is ‘Perfect Ice being Perfect Life’.

I heard from my fren said dis dessert is something like "Yao Yao Bing" but a bit soury. It can be mix any flavour dat u like.. Different taste n uniqness will be given by different combination. Hmm, want to have a try on it.. Yum Yum~!

Malaysia Day is held on September 16 every year to commemorate the establishment of the Malaysian federation on the same date in 1963. It marked the joining together of Malaya, North Borneo (now known as Sabah), Sarawak, and Singapore to form Malaysia. In August 1965, Tunku Abdul Rahman demanded Singapore to leave the federation due to the Chinese population in Singapore is three-quarters more than Malaya's main population, which is Malays.

Currently, the day is a holiday for Sabanh and Sarawak as the official birthdays of their respective Yang di-Pertua Negeris. Anyway, the Government had declared September 16 as a public holiday from next year in a spirit of One Malaysia.

My Hometown, Teluk Intan

History
Teluk Intan is a town located in the state of Perak in Malaysia. It is the largest town in Hilir Perak district and third largest town in the state of Perak with estimated population of 100,000. In the early days, the town was called Teluk Mak Intan, after a female Javanese trader.

Geography
The town was founded on the river bank of the Perak River. The river forms an oxbow meander as it flows through the town, and the town is built around the oxbow. During high-tides, some parts of the town will be flooded with water even though there are watergates and banks to protect the town. Various measures taken by the government to solve the problem have seen relatively few floods in Teluk Intan nowadays. There has been speculation that the river's flow will erode the narrow neck of land in between the loops of the meander effectively turning Teluk Intan into an island.

The town is on Malaysia Federal Route 58 (Jalan Changkat Jong and Jalan Maharaja Lela), 151 (Jalan Sultan Abdullah) and 147 (Jalan Padang Tembak).

Education
Having been ignored by rapid development which has taken place in many other places in the country, Teluk Intan does not have any colleges or universities. This has led to emigration of the younger generations to bigger cities.

Currently only certain schools in Teluk Intan can offer education up to High School level, or an STPM certificate.

Teluk Intan is my lovely hometown where the place i was born.. n SMK Convent is my secondary school where the place i had sweet n sour memories.. Muacks~!
