Chu 15 - Hoong Foong Dim Sum @ USJ 21

It has been months I didn't eat dim sum. How nice it would be if can have few plates of hot dim sum early in the morning right? Remembered that Nigel keeps bugging June & I to bring him for dim sum when he last visit us in Teluk Intan on Chu 3. But unfortunately, Teluk Intan don't have any nice dim sum restaurant.

Anyway, Nigel pay us a visit again in Subang Jaya on Chu 15 and bugging June to bring him for dim sum. Here, we go for dim sum at Hoong Foong Dim Sum which is located at USJ 21. Extended tables and chairs outside the restaurant gives more fresh and cooling air while enjoying dim sum. Reached there about 10am and it's slightly full with customers. It's public holiday, lots people brings their family and friends out for breakfast.

Me & Nigel

Dim Sum #1

Lets start with the Salad Prawn, fried to crispy and dipping with mayonnaise while eating. It's crunchy and not oily. As for the Chili Chicken Feet; it was very juicy, texture and meaty. Tried one of their new dim sum, Minced Pork wrapped with bacon and steamed (given a nickname on it as Chinese style of pig in the blanket). First bite on it, "Mmmm..." It's very crunchy and chewy.

Dim Sum #2

Varieties of dim sum were available here. Big and fresh definitely melts your heart and it's so tempting till saliva is almost drop down. =P You can see, it's filling with ingredients in their Siu Mai (Pork Shrimp) and big shrimps inside the Ha Kau (Prawn dumpling). The prawn is very fresh and the pork is very juicy. One word of "Delicious" to conclude on the Ha Kau and Siu Mai.

Hong Kong style Chee Cheong Fun with Prawn

Not forgetting on their Hong Kong style of Chee Cheong Fun which is comes in three choices; Chee Cheong Fun (Kosong), Chee Cheong Fun with prawn and Chee Cheong Fun with Char Siu. You either can mixed the prawn and Char Siu in the Chee Cheong Fun. It's up to you which is your preferable choice and they make it on the spot once you order for it. It's served in hot, fresh, soft and tender. Another "thumb up" for it. =D

Pork & Century Eggs Porridge

I loved their Pork & Century Eggs Porridge. Every time I go there, for sure I'll order a bowl of the porridge. =D It was robust with decent amounts of pork and eggs. Served steaming hot, it gave a warm respite to our growling stomachs.

June & Nigel

Lastly, we walloped all the food that we ordered because it's too delicious. =D Billed of the dim sum breakfast is RM55, which is very worth for the quality of food. We're full and satisfied with it. =D
