Although the Winter Solstice Festival is already passed and I already eaten Tang Yuan, but I still craving for Tang Yuan and insist want to cook it.. ^^

So, I went to Giant to grab all the ingredients dat I need.. xD

The ingredients

Bring water to a boiled in a pot. Add barley and boil for about 30 minutes or until barley is cooked through. Once the barley is cooked, add rock sugar. Continue boil for 10-15minutes or until rock sugar has dissolved completely. And lastly, put the snow fungus and sago. Cook for another 10-15minutes.

Secondly, bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the coloured glutinous rice balls to the boiling water separately. Once they float, dish out the glutinous rice balls.

Put the balls into individual serving bowls. Add Barley Snow Fungus Sago Soup and serve at once.
