Yeah~ I know I'm being lazy lately to update my blog. Anyway, today I want to blog about maid cafe. Huh? Maid Cafe?? O_O What is Maid Cafe??
The interior looks like a home
Maid Cafe, a very popular concept restaurant founded in Japan, is making its way to Malaysia's shores, starting with the restaurant called Tenshi No Cafe at e@curve. Being a sub-category of theme restaurants, a Maid Cafe features waitress who are dressed like maids, in particular, French maids. Their job is to act as a servants to please the patrons of the restaurants, also known as their masters / mistress. At Tenshi, when customers arrive they are supposed to be treated as if they have returned home, with the maids at their disposal. I'm really curious about it, therefore I decided to walk in to find out by myself.
The stage
From far, it is looks more like a home than a cafe, where there's a rule with no photography of the maid, food and interior. But it's too attracted my eyes and I can't resist myself to snapping around. And of course have to get permission from the Kawaii Maid. Maids and butlers are being protected here. Therefore, no photography of the maid.

Before we can start to enjoy our meal, the maid comes to entertain us by asking, "Would you like to do Moe charm with me?" We're totally blurred and just said "Yes". Then the maid said, "First of all, you make a sign like this", forming her hands into a heart shape. "Then move your hand to the left and say 'Moe!'. Next, to the right and say Moe!" And lastly, put your hands over the food and say "Kyun"! We followed the gestures but we really wondering and asked the maid why we need to do Moe charm. She said it's a charm that makes the food taste better. Ooohh~ Really?? U taste it, then you will know it. xD
